Start Process
The
Start Process module shows the user all the processes for which they have been granted permission. There are different display modes, which can be selected via a button in the upper-right corner. Please watch our video:Video for the Start Process section in CIB flow.

Start ProcessClick on the
Start Process tile on the homepage. You will find an overview of all the processes for which you have permission. By default, processes are displayed in a compact view with a tile and an image. Additional views are available. In the top-right corner, there is a button to select alternative display options. For example, the process tiles can be shown larger, revealing a descriptive text.The List view provides an overview of available processes and can be customized. The application saves the last chosen display mode. Below is a table listing all available display modes with a brief description.
Mode | Description |
---|---|
Compact | Shows the process name and associated image. The description and start button appear when the mouse hovers over the tile. |
Large | Focuses on the description. The images are shown smaller. |
Small | Similar to the Large view, but with a more compact tile size. |
List | No images are shown. The process description appears when the mouse hovers over the tile. |
A search function is located to the right of the
All and Favorites tabs. You can search by partial words to quickly find the desired process. Click the Start button to execute the process.Additionally, each tile contains a star symbol. Clicking it marks the process as a favorite. Your favorites can be accessed via the
Favorites tab.After starting, an input mask may appear where you can enter data. Whether an input mask is used in the process and whether it appears exactly at this point depends on the respective process.
