6. Call parameters in detail

6.27. Parameter --encrypt

[-y]

The parameter --encrypt generates an encrypted output format that can be further processed by other CIB components (for example CIB format/output).

Syntax
--encrypt

Description

The encryption used by the --encrypt parameter is based on a CIB proprietary CC9 algorithm. This algorithm is intended to make the modules or intermediate results "unreadable" and thus prevent "immediate" manipulation of the content.

The encrypted file cannot be opened with MS-Office.

Example
--encrypt

The output file is encrypted here.

The use of the parameter is described in detail in the use case example Gap Text.
