CIB merge technical documentation (EN)

6. Call parameters in detail

6.35. Parameter --html-switches

[--html/-s]

With the parameter --html-switches, CIB merge also supports extended REF statements that contain additional switches for the output of forms with CIB format/html.

Syntax
--html-switches

Description

CIB merge understands by default only the switches defined in MS Word. With the parameter --html-switches the additional switches for the output of forms are also interpreted. A specification of these additional switches can be found in the CIB format help, which you can get from the contact addresses or under http://www.cib.de under Support à Documentation.

Example
--html-switches

The parameter causes CIB merge to understand the following additional switch, for example.

{REF  \* <cib-formfield type="text" info="name" testvalue="Max" />}

With CIB format/html this results in a single-line text field.

The usage of the parameter is demonstrated in the use case example Gap Text.
