The maxOutputSize parameter sets the maximum allowed size for the entire serial letter in the "serialletter" case.

Syntax

--maxOutputSize=[#bytes]

Description

This parameter is a cancellation criterion for serial letters created with CIB merge. If the mail merge exceeds the maximum size, CIB merge will acknowledge this with a return code 818.

This allows the user to make sure that the generation (which usually happens automatically and without human control) is aborted if there is unwanted behavior in the file size range.
